This FAQ page is intended to be used as a quick guide for some of the most common Association issues.   Remember to refer to the Governing Documents page for copies of the restrictions and policies in their entirety.

  • chevron_rightAre basketball goals allowed?
    No, the restrictions expressly prohibit all basketball goals.
  • chevron_rightAre there restrictions on parking?
    The streets in Siena are public and while street parking is not prohibited, it is strongly discouraged.   Homeowners should utilize their garages and driveways for parking.   This helps keeps the street free of vehicles which increases safety and preserves the beauty of the community.
     
    Vehicles with expired registration and/or inspection stickers should be stored within enclosed garages only.  They must not be in view.
     
    Boats, jet skis, trailers, motor homes and other recreational vehicles may not be parked in the driveway or street.   If stored on property, these items must be concealed from view.
     
  • chevron_rightAre there restrictions on pets?
    Type of Pets - Only dogs, cats or other qualified animals may be kept as household pets.   No cows, horses, bees, hogs, sheep, goats, poultry, reptiles, or other exotic animals are permitted.
     
    Number of Pets - No more than four pets per lot are permitted.
     
    Enclosures - Pets must be kept in the home or confined to the rear yard within a secure, fenced area.   The lot should be kept clean of any pet debris or odors. 
     
    Registration - All animals must be properly registered and tagged for identification in accordance with local ordinances.
  • chevron_rightCan I have a satellite dish?
    Yes, however - per the Deed Restrictions the satellite dish cannot exceed one (1) meter in diameter and must be installed where it cannot be viewed from the street.  Please consult your dish installer for options.
  • chevron_rightWhat are other rules I should be aware of?
    Trash Cans & Recycle Bins - Must be stored out of view (i.e. in the garage or behind your wood privacy fence) except on trash pick up day (currently Tuesdays).
     
    Landscaping must be kept maintained - keep your lawn regularly mowed, edged, weeded and healthy.   Keep flower beds free of weeds.   Trim back dormant plantings and remove/replace dead plants as necessary.
     
    Fences - Fence height cannot exceed 8' and cannot be located nearer to any street than the front of the residence.   If you wish to stain your fence, please submit the stain color for Architectural Review prior to application.   The recommended color is Cedar Naturaltone.   Any other stain color requires prior review and approval.
  • chevron_rightWhat are the rules about accessory buildings? (i.e. playhouse, gazebo, shed)
    Children's playhouses and dog houses that are placed on a lot in a location not visible from any street on which the lot fronts or CR110 (or other main thoroughfares) are permitted (for example, 6' or less in height; below the privacy fence line).
     
    All sheds or other structures require you to submit your request for review and approval by the Architectural Reviewer prior to installation.   When submitting your request, please include the following information:
    1. Copy of survey plat showing the proposed location of the shed or structure.
    2. Drawing or picture of the structure, including the dimensions (Length/Width/Height). Maximum shed size is 10x10 and height may not exceed ten feet (10').
    3. Details on the materials to be used - for sheds, siding should be painted to match the existing home; shingles should match the existing home.
    4. Metal, plastic and resin structures are not permitted.
